How to Recreate Meghan Markle’s Wedding Makeup Glow

Meghan Markle left the world stunned with her flawless wedding makeup look. Not only was it elegantly simple, but it also made for the favorite look of the year 2018! Here’s how you can recreate her wedding makeup glow using a few products.

Base

Meghan showed the world her beautiful freckles by using a sheer Dior foundation layer that perfectly complemented her caramel complexion. You can use a sheer foundation to recreate the same flawless makeup look. You can use the LORAC Sheer Porefection Foundation for the base and try dabbing it on the skin with the help of a brush.

Once the foundation is on, spread nicely across the face and blended in, use a concealer to hide the imperfections. Use a concealer under the eyes to brighten these areas just as Meghan does with her everyday makeup look and did on her nuptials as well. Use L’Oréal’s Paris True Match Super-Blendable Concealer to do the job.

Eyes

Meghan’s eye makeup had a subtle look. She opted for brown smoky eyes with voluminous lashes. You can create a similar eye look with the help of L’Oréal Paris Makeup Nude Eye Shadow Palettes. It comes with all the nude shades that you can choose according to your skin tone. The recommended approach is to use a dark brown shade on the lids while adding a little black for depth. Your eyeshadow must be blended to perfection to enact a similar look.

To achieve voluminous lashes, use a fake pair of lashes or add two layers of mascara, and you are done with the eyes!

Brows

For the brows, you need a brow pencil that suits your actual brow color. Don’t go for shades that are too different from the original color or else it looks fake. You want your brows to look natural, so keep the shade as close as possible. You can use Revlon’s ColorStay Brow Pencil that comes with a waterproof and long-wearing formula.

Blush & Highlighter

A blush is essential to give your cheeks a little added color just like Meghan did. To achieve the perfect natural color and glow, use a cream blush from Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide collection. These are available in three different colors: nectar, pink and plum.

If you want a long-lasting instant glow, add a bronzer onto the cheeks before putting on the blush. Choose a bronzer that complements your skin tone.

Makeup is incomplete without a highlighter these days, but Meghan supposedly used a very natural highlighter that gave her an ethereal glow. You can recreate the glow with the help of the Becca Shimmering Skin Highlighter.

Lips

Now that you have recreated the face, it’s time to work on the lips. Meghan has been seen wearing a matte pink lipstick shade. If you are into nude matte lips, go for those. Otherwise, you can add a pop of pink on the lips with the help of the FocusOn Matte Lipstick to completely capture Meghan’s wedding makeup look. This lipstick comes in a pink shade coupled with a warm undertone, and you can wear it all day long.

Do not forget to wrap up the overall look with a setting spray. If you want to wear this look to your nuptials, you’ll want the makeup on for at least half the day
